Clients I Work With
I primarily work with men (cis gender and non), as well as male/male couples (gay and bi males). I specialize in working with couples exploring non-monogamy and working through infidelity as well as other intimacy issues. I work with male sexual dysfunctions, including erectile challenges, premature ejaculation, and pelvic floor related issues. I also work with folks exploring their gender and/or sexual orientation.
Approach
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Sex Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy. I tend to be collaborate in nature, working with clients to help them navigate to get to their goals but recognize the importance of clients creating their own goals. I often use humor in my work when it is appropriate.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I have been both the therapist and the client, so I recognize it can be challenging to even get started. I know first had the experience of having depression and anxiety as well as working through them. I believe therapy is a journey, which often helps clients make changes which better serve their lives.
