Dr. Heather Browne PsyD, LMFT, best selling author of the award winning Speaking with the Heart and TedX speaker helps people recognize the power of communication. It is one of our most important skills that we have, and yet we don’t consider our understanding, approach, belief, and therefore, miss our possibilities. Living with a paranoid schizophrenic mother gave Dr. Heather a unique and powerful awareness that no one has the same reality, though we believe we do. Utilizing this revolutionary awareness has allowed her to transform communication within self and within all other types of relationship. This is the hidden key to acceptance. And this is her mission to share.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
We all want to be loved and understood. We want to feel important and cared for. Yet how we have been raised often doesn’t foster this reality which then shapes our view of the world and how we show up. Learning to love ourself and care for our self and our life is pivotal to cultivating change.
I was raised in a family of schizophrenia, alcoholism, and abuse. My mother killed herself when I was 16 and I was in my own at 18. This greatly shaped my desire to transform and become. I was married for 20 years before I became a widow. Raised my teens into amazing adults. Author, TedX speaker, writer in 100’s of articles. Faith and spirituality are areas of deep interest as well as grounding in nature.
