My approach to mental health care is shaped by both my professional training and my personal story. I am Brazilian and the daughter of immigrants, experiences that taught me resilience, cultural awareness, and the importance of feeling understood. These perspectives help me connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and appreciate the unique challenges each person brings to treatment.
I am also a mother of two, which has deepened my empathy for the realities of balancing work, family, stress, and personal well-being. Parenthood has strengthened my understanding of how sleep, focus, and emotional health affect daily life.
Clinically, I specialize in ADHD and chronic insomnia and also have lived experience with both. This allows me to approach care with both professional expertise and personal insight. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based, and collaborative care.
