Clients I Work With

I work with artists, creatives, and high achieving individuals who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, narcissistic abuse, grief, and relationship issues, as well as those who are simply seeking greater self-awareness and personal growth. My clients tend to be curious, insightful people who are highly motivated to create change in their lives. However, even though they have often "done the work" in the past, they still find that their insight hasn't changed things in their day-to-day life. They may notice that they can't stop ruminating, their body stays tense, and that certain memories or situations carry an unpredictable charge that they can't shake. Trauma and anxiety don’t just live in the mind - they live in the nervous system and body. My work focuses on helping individuals process what’s been stored there so they finally feel calmer, clearer, and more like themselves again.

Approach

I take an integrative, mind/body approach to therapy, and my style is active, direct, and down-to-earth. I combine insight-oriented talk therapy with body-based, trauma-informed approaches such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Yoga Therapy, and somatic therapy to help you calm anxiety, process trauma, and build practical tools for balance, confidence, and emotional regulation. Our work is collaborative and relational, exploring patterns, nervous system responses, and emotional blocks. I also draw on attachment theory, Eastern and Western philosophy, and modern neuroscience to support insight and personal growth.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

As someone with lived experience as a professional actor, published writer, and longtime yoga and meditation teacher, I understand what it means to inhabit a creative and more unconventional life. I understand and deeply respect the intensity, pressures, and the intense highs and lows that come along with the creative process. Being an artist isn't really a choice, it's just who you are -- a way of being that's in your bones. Our work together will honor your sensitivity, your intelligence, and your creative drive.
