Clients I Work With

Many of the clients that I work with struggle with persistent negative thoughts that weigh them down and create symptoms of anxiety and depression. They may feel stuck and unsure of how to create healthy changes. I help clients who have low self esteem and difficulty managing life transitions and decisions. I also work with clients who have endured a past trauma that are seeking real healing so they can live their lives more meaningfully.

Approach

I focus on creating a safe and warm therapy space with a treatment that is unique to each client. I bring 17 years of experience in the mental health field and extensive training in several different types of therapy to my work with clients. We’ll dive right into exploring what brought you to therapy in the first place. We will build a strong therapeutic relationship. I aim to give you a space in the week where you can exhale, practice self-care, and feel empowered to face whatever the week ahead will bring. I help you learn and use healthy coping strategies to manage worry and anxiety, increase self-esteem, adopt healthy self-talk, heal past wounds, and engage in healthy relationships. We’ll work together to find how to balance emotional health.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

As a working mom, I know the importance of balance and self care. It can be easy to put your needs last and burn out. I help clients recognize that caring for themselves is not selfish and is essential for healthy functioning.

More About My Practice

I began my career as a high school counselor and transitioned into clinical work after 5 years in that role. I bring my school counseling training and understanding of school systems to my work with teens when applicable. I am passionate about my work as a clinical therapist and feel privileged to be able to help teens, young adults, and adults on their journeys to healing and growth. I bring my training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ERP, and mindfulness approaches to my work, helping clients to feel capable of setting and working toward their goals. I offer in person therapy in Fort Washington, PA as well as telehealth for clients in PA, NJ, FL and SC.
