Clients I Work With

I work with adults for individual and couples therapy. My passion is to work with people on issues surrounding all stages of relationships; from seeking a relationship and dating, break ups, premarital/engagement, marriage, parenthood and beyond. I work with individuals and couples struggling in the areas of communication, intimacy, connection, infertility, infidelity, value differences, in law issues, parenting, existential crises as well as any other area inpacting their ability to live a high quality of life. I also have a passion for working with people with high functioning anxiety as well as other forms of anxiety.

Approach

I tailor my approach to each individual client/couple as everyone is unique and there is no one size fits all nor formula. I ensure that I listen to clients free of judgement and with empathy. I am engaged with clients during the session and will ask questions as well as give feedback. I am kind but direct and like to challenge clients to notice patterns and to think about things from other perspectives and frameworks. I believe building a strong rapport with clients is fundamental in authentic and deep therapeutic work. I like to give "homework" to clients for work to happen in real life and time and to ensure that the skills we discuss and build in sessions truly prove useful in your day to day life and to help with accountability on the goals that you set for yourself.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

1. I immigrated to the United States at the age of 4 and am cognizant of cultural differences and immigrant parent dynamics. 2. I have a strong connection to my Jewish roots and community and know the importance of providing a safe space especially in a post October 7th world. 3. I am the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and am able to see the impact of that generationally. 4. I am a mother of 3 small children and a wife and those roles inform my ability to support others in these life stages and in the process of beginning those stages. 5. Lastly, I am a woman entrepreneur and a life long learner who values professional growth and the delicate art of creating a work life balance when there is always more work to do and where there is an environment of competition and pressure.

More About My Practice

I offer sessions virtually from the comfort of wherever people are; whether at home, in the car, at work, in the nail salon, taking a walk etc. I do not believe therapy needs to be an added burden or thing to squeeze in. Feel free to do whatever is optimal for you to also have the space and time for your own processing and reflection. I provide clinical supervision and consultation to other therapists in the process of licensing and in private practice.
