Clients I Work With

I work with adults (18+) in NC who have been told they are "too much", yet also struggle with feeling like they are never enough. I commonly support folks who are reevaluating their beliefs and values, learning how to be fully present in their body, and/or navigating late-identfied neurodivergence.

Approach

We start with a free, 15-minute virtual consultation to see if we're a good fit for working together. During a 90-minute initial session, you have an opportunity to share with me more about your background and what is bringing you to therapy, and we discuss what you'd like to get out of our work together. Then, I draw from my training and experience, using modalities such as Narative Therapy, Brainspotting, DBT, Parts Works, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you work through the concerns bringing you to therapy and feel more confident in moving forward in life.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I bring lived experience of religious harm and of late-identified Autism to my clinical work. In addition to my graduate degree in mental health counseling and thousands of hours of clinical experience, I am also a Certified Body Trust Provider and a Religious Trauma Specialist. Values that I bring to my life and my work include being trauma-responsive, anti-racist, LBTQ+-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and spiritually inclusive. I value collaborating with clients to ensure that your personal experiences and my clinical training combine to help create an atmosphere for healing and personal growth.
