Clients I Work With

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stretched thin are common experiences for the folks I work with. Many of my clients struggle with burnout, perfectionism, self-criticism, insomnia, relationship stress, or the sense that they're not quite "doing enough." Sometimes big transitions, like early parenthood, career shifts, or divorce are contributing to this, and sometimes it's just due to patterns folks have learned that were once helpful for surviving day to day, but aren't serving them anymore. The clients I work with often want to find relief from anxiety, depression, or OCD, but also improve their sense of balance in their lives, working toward creating sustainable change.

Approach

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded. I bring warmth and directness to help folks slow down, untangle and understand patterns, and make meaningful changes. While my sessions are structured enough to feel productive, I also incorporate space for processing and reflection. I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, while also incorporating relational and insight-oriented work. When working with clients navigating OCD, I focus on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) or Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT). To help you work toward the changes you're striving for, we'll build practical tools and explore the deeper beliefs and pressures that might be keeping you stuck.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I strongly believe you are the expert on your own life. I don't think my role as a psychologist is to fix you, but instead, to partner with you, share clinical expertise, and honor your insight, values, and lived experiences. I'm deeply committed to inclusive and affirming care, and because of this, I strive to create a space where all identities are respected and where you don't have to explain or minimize parts of yourself to feel understood. I also bring lived experiences with OCD and as a biracial woman, which have shaped my sensitivity to identity, stigma, high standards, and the complexity of navigating multiple worlds. These pieces have also shaped my view of the importance of receiving evidence-based, effective care, and how this can impact well-being.

More About My Practice

I provide virtual therapy for adults and am licensed in Missouri and Massachusetts. I'm also authorized to practice virtually in participating PSYPACT states. In addition to individual therapy, I offer couples therapy (with Level 2 Gottman Method training), clinical consultation, and supervision. My practice is out-of-network, and if requested, I can provide superbills for insurance reimbursement. I intentionally keep a smaller caseload to ensure my clients receive personalized, attentive care. If you'd like to explore whether we'd be a good fit for working together, you're welcome to schedule a brief consultation call through my website.
