Clients I Work With
I specialize in supporting high-functioning individuals who, despite their external success, feel inwardly burdened by patterns and self-perceptions that don't truly belong to them. My practice is dedicated to two primary areas: those healing from relational trauma and chronic self-doubt, and South Asian individuals navigating the "weight of belonging" and complex cultural expectations.
As a Somatic Psychotherapist with 20 years of experience, I help you move beyond traditional talk therapy to track how these "borrowed" narratives and cultural conditionings are held in your nervous system. We work to disentangle your sense of self from the projections and wounds of others that you may have mistakenly identified as your own. I provide a grounded, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed space to resolve these internal blocks and help you reclaim your authentic agency and center.
Approach
I move beyond traditional talk therapy by focusing on how life’s burdens and "borrowed" narratives are held within the nervous system. My approach is grounded in Somatic Psychotherapy; we don't just analyze your history, we track how your body carries the weight of past relational trauma and cultural expectations in the present moment.
With 20 years of experience, I offer a trauma-informed and culturally responsive space to disentangle your sense of self from the projections of others. We use somatic awareness to regulate the nervous system and move through internal blocks. This is not about "fixing" you, but about unburdening your system so you can reclaim your authentic agency. Please visit my website to watch my introductory video to see if my presence resonates with you.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
My path to therapy began in software engineering, a background that gave me a deep appreciation for systems. However, it was my own 20-year journey that taught me about the "system" of the human soul. I believe that while life’s relational trauma and cultural conditioning can leave deep marks, we often carry "borrowed" identities that further layer over our true nature.
As a South Asian woman, I understand the "weight of belonging" and the complex expectations that can silence an authentic voice. My experience informs my belief that healing is less about "fixing" and more about unburdening the nervous system from narratives that were never ours to carry. I provide a culturally responsive, trauma-informed space to help you disentangle from these external shadows and return to your own centered agency.
More About My Practice
I provide a grounded, trauma-informed environment for high-functioning individuals and South Asian souls navigating relational wounds and cultural expectations. My practice focuses on Somatic Psychotherapy, moving beyond talk therapy to resolve how past experiences are held within the nervous system. With 20 years of experience, I honor both your professional capabilities and your deeper need for internal alignment.
I believe "presence" is a vital diagnostic tool; I invite you to watch my introductory video, "An Invitation to Healing," on my website to see if my energy resonates with you. My standard session fee is $250, and I offer a limited number of $150 sliding-scale spots for those with financial need. I am committed to a culturally responsive practice that supports your return to authentic agency.
