Approach
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to process your with someone not involved in your life. My approach is different with each client, we're all unique so there is no one size fits all. I pull from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Jungian, Humanistic, Strength based, Family Systems, Attachment Theory, the work of Tony Attwood.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe each of us needs to be in therapy at some point in our life because life can just be hard. I'm here to hold space for you to help you explore the underlying causes/triggers so you can move forward.
I've been in practice for over 20 years, prior to that I spent 20 years in the corporate world. I beieve this offers me a real world view of the struggles and challenges, and also an understaning of how things work.
My daughter is diagnosed with High Functioning Autism (and she is okay with me talking about that) so I have every day experience with the highs and hurdles of loving someone with HFA. And needless to say once she received the diagnosis I did lots of research!
