Clients I Work With
I work with adult individuals who are navigating trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but carry deeper emotional pain, unresolved past experiences, or patterns in relationships that feel hard to change. I specialize in supporting AANHPI and other BIPOC clients who are exploring cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and the impact of family or societal expectations. My clients are often seeking deeper healing and meaningful shifts in how they understand themselves, their relationships, and their emotional world. Together we work toward greater clarity, self-compassion, and lasting change.
Approach
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and holistic. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to support meaningful and lasting change. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and cultural influences shape their current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Our work together focuses on building insight, strengthening emotional awareness, and processing unresolved experiences in a way that feels grounded and manageable. Therapy is a collaborative process where we move at a pace that supports safety while helping you develop deeper self-understanding and more secure ways of relating to yourself and others.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
As a first-generation Vietnamese American therapist, I understand the complexities of holding multiple identities and the impact they have on your well-being. My personal beliefs and lived experiences shape how I show up as a therapist. As a woman of color, I understand how culture, family expectations, and societal messages can influence identity, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. These experiences inform my commitment to practicing with cultural humility and awareness. I believe healing happens within safe, authentic relationships and that each person carries deep wisdom on their own. Whether you're struggling with intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, racial stress, family dynamics, or the stigma around mental health, you don’t have to face it alone. Therapy is a space where your experiences are honored, your emotions are validated, and your healing is prioritized.
More About My Practice
My practice focuses on supporting adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, and relational challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning yet feel stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences, family dynamics, or cultural expectations. I specialize in working with AANHPI and other BIPOC clients who are exploring cultural identity, intergenerational experiences, and the impact these may have on relationships and self-understanding. My work is depth-oriented and focused on helping clients move beyond surface-level coping. Through a thoughtful and collaborative process, I support clients in gaining clarity, processing unresolved experiences, and building more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
