Clients I Work With

I specialize in working with youth, families, and adults to process their past traumas and adverse childhood experiences. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to explore themselves, whether managing anxiety, processing trauma, enhancing personal growth, or strengthening relationships. Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you feel empowered and aligned with your goals. I believe that meaningful growth is possible for everyone, and I’m here to help you take the next steps toward the life you want. Parents are never given a handbook on parenting their child. So what do you do when they act out, have a tantrum, or struggle emotionally? As a certified PCIT clinician and trainer, I can help you learn positive parenting skills to enhance your parent-child relationship and provide appropriate discipline strategies to manage difficult behaviors.

Approach

I utilize a cognitive behavioral, integrative approach, with a trauma informed lens and an emphasis on evidence-based therapies. I know that it can be difficult to talk about these events. That is why in therapy we will work at your pace to identify the impact that your trauma has had on your daily functioning. You will learn skills that help you express and regulate your feelings, challenge negative thinking patterns, and build healthy relationships. My treatment approach is warm, authentic, and collaborative. I will challenge you in therapy, and use specifically tailored strategies to create a safe non-judgmental atmosphere. Let me be your ally and support you in becoming the best version of yourself!

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I’ve always been passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges and giving them hope that life doesn’t always have to be so challenging. I started out wanting to support underserved populations, which led me to work in schools, clinics, and community mental health settings, focusing on parenting, trauma, and anxiety. These experiences shaped my collaborative, strengths-based approach, focused on providing practical tools to help you grow and thrive.

More About My Practice

I’m certified in PCIT, WAT PCIT, TF-CBT, and PC-CARE, which allows me to provide evidence-based interventions tailored to children, families, and individuals. My intake process begins with a free consultation to understand your needs and ensure a good fit. During our first few sessions, we’ll dive deeper into your goals and develop a collaborative plan tailored to you. Progress often looks like gaining clarity, building confidence, and developing practical tools to navigate challenges.
