Clients I Work With
I work with clients who need complex trauma therapy, or a different trauma therapy, if previous attempts have not worked.
Approach
In my approach, I use "the band-aid and the surgery approach." I utilize CBT as a base therapy as a "band-aid to address thinking on a day-to-day basis and while we use trauma therapies as "surgery" to address deep rooted trauma. I am trained and experienced in EMDR, TRIP trauma therapy, 4 blinks flash-type and low dose Ketamine assisted EMDR.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe that issues have to be address at 2 levels, the surface level with the "band-aid" to stop the bleeding so to speak and at a much deeper level with trauma therapies.
More About My Practice
I offer services in-person as well as telehealth. Everything I do I can do via telehealth as well as in-person. I utilize a website to provide bilateral stimulation for EMDR in visual and auditory forms.
