Clients I Work With

At Better Minds Counseling & Services, we provide therapy for adults navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, depression, ADHD, chronic pain, and relationship challenges. Our therapists specialize in working with high-functioning individuals, overachievers, and those feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking or self-doubt. We are an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy practice and support clients across Pennsylvania and beyond through virtual therapy. Whether you're dealing with intrusive thoughts, panic, burnout, or life transitions, our team offers personalized, evidence-based care tailored to your needs.

Approach

At Better Minds, our approach to therapy is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based care. We believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be fully human—not judged or rushed. Our therapists integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD to help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and create lasting change. We focus on helping you break cycles of anxiety, overthinking, and avoidance while reconnecting with your values and sense of self. Whether you're navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or relationship stress, our goal is to help you feel more grounded and confident. As a virtual, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy practice, we provide inclusive, accessible care tailored to your needs.

More About My Practice

Better Minds offers both individual and group therapy to support meaningful, lasting change. In addition to one-on-one sessions, our therapy groups provide a supportive space to connect with others who understand what you're going through. We offer groups focused on OCD, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain and illness, and narcissistic abuse, as well as skills-based groups that incorporate approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT. Group therapy can help reduce feelings of isolation, build coping skills in real time, and create a sense of community while working toward your goals. As a virtual, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy practice, our groups are accessible, inclusive, and designed to meet you where you are—whether you're looking for additional support alongside individual therapy or a place to start. While we are a private pay practice, we are a VCAP provider in Pennsylvania.
