Clients I Work With

So many of the adults I work with are high-functioning on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside. Anxiety has become a constant companion. Something from the past still shows up in unexpected ways, affecting relationships, sense of safety, or how they see themselves. And no matter what they accomplish, it never feels like enough. If you're hard on yourself, caught in cycles of perfectionism, or carrying more than you let on, you're not alone. I work with adults navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, and untangling the belief that their worth depends on what they produce or how perfectly they perform. My approach is warm and collaborative, and I'll meet you exactly where you are.

Approach

Therapy with me is mostly conversation. I'll listen carefully, ask questions that help you see yourself more clearly, and gently challenge the patterns and beliefs that are keeping you stuck. I bring humor into sessions when it fits, because healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time. My approach draws on several evidence-based methods, weaving together tools that help you understand where you came from, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and build a more flexible relationship with your inner world. I pay close attention to how past experiences shape present struggles, and I tailor my approach to what you actually need rather than following a rigid formula. At the core of everything is the relationship between us. You'll never feel like a checklist to me. I want you to feel seen, respected, and like this is a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My own life has given me a deep understanding of what it means to carry hard things. I have navigated trauma firsthand, which shapes the way I show up for clients who are doing the same. I know healing is not linear, and I hold that truth with a lot of compassion. I am a parent of adult children, and the experiences that come with that season of life inform how I understand relationships, identity shifts, and the quiet complexity of everyday living. I am openly liberal in my values and committed to creating a space that is affirming, inclusive, and free of judgment. I am particularly passionate about empowering women to trust themselves, take up space, and recognize their own strength. Whoever you are, I want you to feel welcome here.

More About My Practice

I offer telehealth sessions only, which means you can access support from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in the state. I work with individual adults exclusively. I accept most major insurance plans, so please don't hesitate to reach out to ask about yours. With over 14 years of experience, I am also open to offering consultation or supervision to fellow therapists who are looking for thoughtful, experienced support in their own professional growth. If that interests you, feel free to reach out and we can talk about what that might look like.
