Clients I Work With
I work with a wide range of clients across age groups, identities, and relationship dynamics, including teens (13+), young adults, adults, and elders. I support individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions, as well as those seeking deeper emotional connection and personal growth. My work includes diverse communities such as LGBTQ+ clients, ethically non-monogamous relationships, highly sensitive individuals, artists and creatives, and people exploring sexuality or gender identity. I commonly support concerns like anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, communication struggles, grief, sexual concerns, ADHD, and trauma/PTSD, along with specialized areas like perinatal mental health, infidelity recovery, and alternative relationship structures, centering clients who are looking to heal and grow.
Approach
My approach to therapy is relational, somatic, and trauma-informed, rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection—both within ourselves and in relationship with others. I integrate modalities like EMDR, somatic practices, and parts work to support clients in moving beyond insight and into embodied change. Together, we explore patterns shaped by past experiences, gently bringing awareness to the nervous system, attachment dynamics, and internal narratives. I value curiosity, consent, and collaboration in the process, honoring each client’s pace and lived experience. My work often goes beyond traditional talk therapy, inviting experiential practices that support deeper integration, emotional release, and lasting transformation.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
My beliefs and lived experience are rooted in a deep respect for the complexity of being human. I believe that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about reconnecting with what has always been there beneath layers of adaptation, survival, and conditioning. My own journey has included exploring the intersections of mind, body, and spirit, as well as unlearning systems that disconnect us from ourselves and each other. These experiences shape my commitment to culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, and relational care. I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion, and I show up as a real person in the room—grounded, reflective, and willing to sit with the full range of what it means to be alive.
More About My Practice
Love Meets Therapy is a relational, values-driven group practice rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection, compassion, and accessibility. Our mission is to make mental health care more human, inclusive, and attuned to the complexities of real life. We offer individual, couples, and specialized therapies—including somatic work, EMDR, sex therapy, and psychospiritual support—through a lens that honors each person’s unique story and identity. We are especially committed to serving diverse communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and non-traditional relationships. With flexible options, online care, and a focus on reducing barriers, Love Meets Therapy strives to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing.
