Clients I Work With
You look like you have it together on the outside. You’re responsible, driven, and often the one others rely on. But internally, your mind rarely slows down. You might be dealing with anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, or a constant sense of pressure.
I work with South Asian and first-generation professionals navigating high expectations, family dynamics, and the weight of being “the strong one.” Many of my clients struggle with guilt around rest, people-pleasing, relationship stress, or feeling disconnected from themselves despite their success.
If you’ve been carrying a lot for a long time and are ready to feel more grounded, clear, and like yourself again, we may be a good fit.
Approach
Therapy with me is both grounding and honest. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’m engaged, present, and will gently challenge patterns that are keeping you stuck.
My work is integrative and mindfulness-based, blending traditional talk therapy with body awareness, nervous system regulation, and deeper self-inquiry. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic approaches to help you understand not just what you’re feeling, but why.
Sessions often slow things down so you can reconnect with yourself in a different way—not just thinking through problems, but actually experiencing more calm, clarity, and choice in your life.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
As a first-generation South Asian American, I understand the complexity of navigating cultural expectations, family roles, and identity. Many of my clients come in feeling torn between who they’ve been taught to be and who they’re becoming.
I believe healing isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about coming back into relationship with yourself in a more honest and compassionate way.
I’ve spent years in my own personal and mindfulness-based practice, and that continues to shape how I show up in this work. This isn’t just something I studied—it’s something I live.
More About My Practice
I offer individual therapy for adults via telehealth in California and Illinois, as well as in-person sessions in Ventura, CA.
I also offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
In addition to therapy, I create mindfulness-based resources and practices to support clients between sessions. My work is especially aligned for those looking for depth—not just coping tools, but meaningful, lasting change.
