Clients I Work With

Have you been in therapy before, but felt like it only got so far? Maybe it felt surface-level, overly passive, or like you were left to connect the dots on your own. You may still find yourself stuck in anxiety, self-doubt, or damaging relationship patterns, with a sense that something deeper is driving it. Many of my clients have lived through trauma, painful relationship experiences, or family dynamics that continue to shape how they feel, relate to others, and see themselves. This work tends to resonate with people who want something more focused, more engaged, and more effective than what they’ve experienced before.

Approach

Many people come to me after therapy that focused heavily on thoughts, context, or understanding the past, but did not lead to real change. My work focuses more directly on emotion and physical experience. Often, the first explanation we give for what we feel is only part of the story. What looks like anger may be hurt. What feels like shutdown may be fear, grief, or shame. I take an active, structured approach. We track emotional and physical patterns as they happen, understand what is maintaining them, and begin responding differently in real time. The goal is not just insight, but change you can actually feel.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe people should not have to explain themselves perfectly to be taken seriously in therapy. You do not need to arrive with a clear story or the “right” words. I pay close attention to what sits underneath the surface, especially in relationships. Many of my clients have had experiences where their feelings were dismissed or their reality was questioned, making it harder over time to trust themselves. I aim to create a space that is steady, respectful, and grounded, where you can begin to understand yourself more clearly without feeling rushed, judged, or overlooked.

More About My Practice

I offer individual therapy for adults and work with couples on a case-by-case basis. My practice is fully telehealth and available to clients in New York and New Jersey. I offer a free initial consultation so you can get a sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit. I tend to work best with clients who are looking for a more engaged, thoughtful, and focused therapy process, rather than a purely open-ended or passive approach.
