Clients I Work With

You might be feeling stuck in patterns around food, body image, or anxious thoughts that feel hard to turn off. Maybe meals feel stressful, your mind feels loud with worries or rituals, or you feel exhausted trying to keep everything under control. You may also be navigating the unique stressors that come with military life, frequent transitions, or caring for others while putting yourself last. I work with individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, OCD, and anxiety who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from themselves. If you feel like your thoughts or behaviors are running the show, you are not alone, and change is possible.

Approach

Sessions with me are collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you feel safe enough to be honest about what you are experiencing. My approach is person-centered, meaning we move at your pace while building trust and understanding. I also teach practical skills rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and ACT to help you manage anxiety, reduce compulsions, and build a healthier relationship with food and your body. Together, we focus on creating real, meaningful progress while helping you feel more confident navigating daily life. Therapy with me is a balance of support, accountability, and skill building.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My work is shaped by a deep respect for resilience, honesty, and compassion. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel understood, not judged. I also bring an understanding of military culture and the emotional demands that come with service, transitions, and supporting loved ones in high-stress environments. I value authenticity and believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as you are, without pressure to be perfect. I approach each client with curiosity, respect, and a belief that growth happens when people feel safe enough to be real.

More About My Practice

I provide virtual therapy to clients across Virginia, making care accessible no matter where you are located. As a Resident in Counseling, I work under clinical supervision to ensure high-quality, ethical care. My practice is self-pay, with rates designed to remain more affordable and accessible than many traditional therapy options. I currently offer individual therapy and am accepting new clients. My goal is to make specialized care for eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, and body image concerns more accessible to individuals who may otherwise struggle to find support.
