About this provider
Clients I Work With
I work with adults (18+), especially women navigating trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also support veterans coping with the lasting impact of stress and trauma, and individuals experiencing complicated grief—especially when loss feels unresolved.
In couples counseling, I help partners break patterns of conflict, improve communication, and rebuild connection.
If you’re going through a life transition—whether expected or sudden—you might feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or like you’ve lost your sense of direction. Together, we can work to help you regain clarity and a stronger sense of self.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and real. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to be honest, understood without judgment, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.
You don’t have to keep carrying this alone.
Approach
Sessions with me feel supportive, real, and collaborative. I show up as down-to-earth and engaged, creating a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment—but also gently challenged when you feel stuck. My approach is trauma-informed and centered on helping you understand your patterns, reconnect with yourself, and build more effective ways of coping and relating.
I draw from EMDR to process past experiences, CBT and DBT to shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and mindfulness (MBSR) to help you stay grounded. In couples work, I use Gottman and EFT to strengthen communication and emotional connection. I also incorporate Narrative Therapy to help you rewrite the story you carry about yourself. For those who desire it, I also offer a faith-based approach, integrating spiritual beliefs into the work.
Together, we focus on meaningful, lasting change at your pace.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I’ve been honored to walk alongside people in their healing since 1996, but my calling began much earlier. At eleven, I read an article about child abuse that deeply moved me—and I knew then I wanted to help others find safety, healing, and hope.
My personal experiences have also shaped how I show up as a therapist. I was a single mother for sixteen years and have lived through profound loss, including losing a loved one to overdose. Those experiences deepened my understanding of grief, trauma, and resilience in ways that go beyond training.
I value authenticity, compassion, and perseverance. I show up as real, present, and deeply committed—offering a space where you feel seen, supported, and never alone in what you’re facing.
More About My Practice
I primarily offer virtual sessions, making it easy to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. For those who prefer in-person connection, limited in-person sessions are also available.
I provide individual and couples counseling, tailored to your unique needs and goals. In addition, I offer clinical supervision for therapists seeking guidance, support, and professional growth in their work.
My goal is to offer flexible, accessible care while maintaining a warm, consistent, and supportive experience.
