Clients I Work With
I have made a point to get experience helping people navigate multiple types of challenges. Some challenges I support people with include neurodivergence, anxiety, life transitions, relationships with body image, and relationships with food. I have made a point to seek training and experience to support those in the LGBTQ+ community. I also provider relational counseling and support relationships that might incorporate Kink or ENM practices.
Approach
I am not an expert of one’s life or problems. I have knowledge, skills, training, and experience that I bring into the sessions to support the work. Therapy is a journey during which myself and my clients combine our knowledge, skills, and experience to recognize some preferred directions as well as to understand the problems. I am not directive but I can be direct. I always try to collaborate with my clients to ensure our work aligns with their experience and their values.
