Clients I Work With
I support adults who feel stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed—often high-functioning individuals who appear to have it all together at work and in life. Many are natural caregivers and people-pleasers who take on a lot for others, leaving little time or energy for themselves. Over time, this can show up as physical symptoms like heart palpitations and sleep difficulties, as well as irritability, anger, and strain in relationships.
Approach
My approach is warm, empathetic, and steady, creating a space where you can feel heard without judgment. I draw from a range of evidence-based practices—including CBT, mindfulness, DBT skills, and solution-focused strategies—tailoring each session to what you need in the moment.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I’m a wife and a mom to two elementary-aged kids (almost middle schoolers), and I have a deep love for animals—especially dogs. While family is incredibly important to me, I also value having an identity and fulfillment outside of those roles. I strive for balance in my own life and make a conscious effort to practice what I share with clients, so I understand firsthand what actually helps.
I’ve experienced my own struggles with stress and anxiety, often accompanied by sleep difficulties that run in my family. Those experiences have shaped my perspective and fueled my commitment to learning practical, effective tools to manage these challenges—both for myself and for the people I work with.
More About My Practice
We are a warm, empathetic practice that primarily operates through telehealth, making it easier for clients to meet us exactly where they are—literally and figuratively. Telehealth has proven to be highly effective and offers the added benefit of flexibility and convenience, removing the stress and time commitment of commuting while still providing meaningful, consistent care.
In addition to virtual therapy, I also offer in-person neurofeedback services in Northern Virginia. Neurofeedback uses technology to help support and retrain brainwave patterns, offering another evidence-based option for clients seeking additional support.
