Clients I Work With
I have over fifteen years experience in working with children, adolescents, their families, and adults with various mental health disorders. In addition, I am committed to working with individuals presenting with body image and self-esteem issues, individuals being challenged by life transitions, individuals who are impacted and/or affected by stress and burnout and those who would like to engage in inner child healing.
Approach
My counseling style can be described as warm, empathetic, and interactive as I believe in showing each client kindness, respect and compassion. It is also my belief that the key to creating and maintaining a collaborative therapeutic relationship is to provide a safe, nonjudgemental space where individuals are free to be their true self.
Although Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based, ACT, and Emotion-Focused Therapy are utilized, they are modified based on the needs of the individual being seen.
