I work with clients who have experienced trauma and now live with anxiety as a result. Often, these two things make it harder to show up in your relationships the way you want to.
Approach
My approach is integrative. I draw from several modalities like CBT, attachment theory, psychodynamic, compassion focused, experiential, EMDR, and psycho education. I believe in the healing power of connecting and being seen, so my approach is relational, person-centered, and grounded in your values. Many times in session, I will utilize Socratic questioning to help you look within to find solutions or answers. My goal as a therapist is to show up authentically, incorporating relatability, humor, and gentle challenges where necessary.
