About this provider
Clients I Work With
You often feel unsupported or not quite seen by others. You're there for others when they're going through a hard time, but find it hard to ask for help yourself-maybe because you don't feel worthy or don't want to be a burden. Dealing with concerns like past trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic illness, body image, disordered eating, or relational stress is isolating & feels overwhelming to manage alone. You want deeper connections, but don't know where to start & fear being judged. Or if you're a therapist yourself, you may want the extra support of being in therapy! I specialize in body image/disordered eating work, as well as trauma and complex/traumatic grief. I also provide specific treatment for therapists, first responders, parents of children with eating disorders, and people becoming caregivers for loved ones.
Approach
Working with me includes collaborating to build coping skills, meaningful connections to yourself & others, & ultimately a life you fully enjoy living. As your therapist, I will validate & challenge you where appropriate-with a little humor mixed in! I pull from evidence-based approaches such as IFS, CBT, polyvagal theory, and somatic work, with a focus on emotional regulation where appropriate. Having the right fit in therapy is crucial to achieving your goals, so my approach is tailored to be unique to you. If this resonates with you, please reach out & let's get started!
More About My Practice
I see clients throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Ohio, and sessions are held via telehealth for more scheduling flexibility & range of care. Spots are open M-F-please email for updated availability!
