Clients I Work With
I work with adults across New Mexico through telehealth, with a special focus on veterans, active duty service members, first responders, and individuals carrying the long-term impact of trauma, loss, high-stress environments, or painful life experiences. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in survival mode, experiencing anxiety, nightmares, intrusive memories, emotional numbness, anger, guilt, shame, or difficulty feeling connected to themselves and others. I also support adults navigating moral injury, grief, life transitions, identity concerns, and the emotional weight of serving in roles where they have had to stay strong for everyone else.
Approach
My approach is structured, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based trauma treatment. I use EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and Image Rehearsal Therapy to help clients process painful experiences rather than simply manage symptoms. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is also central to my work, helping clients reconnect with their values and build a meaningful life even when difficult emotions, memories, or stress responses are present. As both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Army veteran, I bring clinical training, lived understanding, and deep respect for the courage it takes to begin trauma work.
