Clients I Work With
I specialize in working with couples around communication, intimacy, and connection. I have additional specialties working with couples around premarital counseling, affair resolution and sexual issues. I work actively with you teaching you skills to truly hear and empathize with your partner, learn conflict resolution skills and achieve greater closeness, understanding and appreciation of each other. I use humor and stories from my personal and professional experience to facilitate our work together. I welcome your call and offer a complimentary 20 minute telehealth consulation to share my approach around your issues and answer any questions you may have.
Approach
I work with couples who are struggling with distance in their relationship, frequent conflicts with each other that appear to be continually unresolved, couples who seek greater intimacy and affection in their relationship or couples who feel like things have faded in their relationship over time and want a closer connection with each other.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
My work is shaped by the belief that we all get stuck from time to time and have blind spots. My job is to figure out where that is happening and provide you with the tools to make the changes you desire. I utilize mindfulness based therapy in additon to family systems and problem solving therapy.
