Clients I Work With
Many of the people I work with have spent years feeling like they were somehow "too much," "not enough," or simply different. They may be neurodivergent, highly sensitive, gifted, homeschooling, spiritually awakened, or people who have never quite fit the mold. Some arrive exhausted from masking, people-pleasing, overthinking, or trying to become the version of themselves they believe the world expects.
Approach
My approach is collaborative, curious, and grounded in both clinical evidence and genuine respect for your lived experience. I don't believe therapy is about fixing who you are. I believe it's about understanding yourself deeply enough that you can stop abandoning yourself to meet other people's expectations and begin building a life that truly fits.
Our work together often explores identity, nervous system regulation, trauma, relationships, boundaries, burnout, and the beliefs you've inherited about who you "should" be. Rather than telling you what your truth is, I help you develop the discernment to discover what is true for you. We'll question old assumptions, notice the patterns that no longer serve you, and create space for greater alignment, self-trust, and meaningful change.
If you're looking for a therapist who values curiosity over judgment, welcomes thoughtful questions, and believes that belonging should never require self-abandonment, we may be a good fit.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe healing begins with curiosity, self-understanding, and the freedom to question beliefs that no longer fit. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to help you reconnect with your own values, strengths, and inner wisdom so you can make choices that feel authentic and aligned.
As a homeschool parent, business owner, and someone who values lifelong learning, I understand that there is no single "right" way to build a meaningful life. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and belief systems and strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you can explore your experiences without fear of judgment or pressure to fit someone else's expectations.
I work from a neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and evidence-based perspective while remaining open to conversations about identity, meaning, creativity, and spirituality when they are important to you. My commitment is to provide thoughtful, ethical care that honors both the science of psychology and the uniqueness of your lived experience.
More About My Practice
Sage Synergy Counseling & Wellness is an online Florida practice for people who have never quite fit the mold. I work with neurodivergent adults, highly sensitive people, homeschool families, and those navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, identity, and life transitions. Therapy here isn't about helping you fit into someone else's expectations. It's about helping you better understand yourself, question beliefs that no longer serve you, and build a life that feels authentic and sustainable. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and grounded in evidence-based care while honoring the uniqueness of each person's lived experience.
