Clients I Work With
I work with teens (ages 13+) and adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, substance use, ADHD, eating disorders, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I strive to meet you where you are. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you. I enjoy helping clients build practical skills while also exploring the deeper patterns, experiences, and values that influence their lives.
Approach
I believe therapy is most effective when it is built on a strong therapeutic relationship. My style is warm, collaborative, and encouraging, while also providing gentle challenges that promote growth when appropriate. I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, ERP, ACT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we'll work to better understand your experiences, build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and create lasting change that aligns with your values and goals.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe healing happens through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the things that give our lives meaning. I view therapy as a collaborative process where compassion, curiosity, and accountability can exist together. I believe every person has inherent strengths, and that lasting growth comes from understanding ourselves with honesty while extending ourselves grace.
My professional experiences have shaped the therapist I am today. My background in public health, social work, and working with individuals facing a variety of mental health and substance use challenges has strengthened my appreciation for the resilience people demonstrate in difficult circumstances. These experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting each client without judgment, recognizing that every person's story is unique. They have also taught me that meaningful change is possible!
