Clients I Work With

I work with adults, couples, families, first responders, military members, veterans, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, and chronic stress. Many of my clients are capable, responsible people who are used to holding everything together while privately feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck. I also welcome clients who have felt misunderstood or unsupported in previous therapy.

Approach

My approach is direct, compassionate, trauma informed, and grounded in research. Sessions are collaborative, practical, and individualized. I may be a good fit for clients who want a therapist who is warm and down to earth while also willing to ask thoughtful questions, identify patterns, and provide clear guidance toward meaningful change.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe therapy should feel human, collaborative, and practical. You should not have to perform, use perfect language, or have everything figured out before you begin. My role is to help you understand what is happening beneath the surface, recognize patterns, and develop tools that fit your life. Sessions with me are warm, direct, and conversational. I use trauma informed, research supported approaches, including cognitive behavioral strategies, attachment work, nervous system regulation, and practical skill building. My perspective is also shaped by lived experience. My husband is a military veteran and law enforcement officer, giving me personal insight into the demands these careers place on individuals and families. I have participated in therapy since I was 11 years old and believe in practicing what I encourage. Therapy remains an important part of my own growth, and I expect it always will.

More About My Practice

My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should be individualized, transparent, and purposeful. I work with clients through secure telehealth across Texas and offer in person sessions in North Fort Worth. I use evidence informed assessment tools when appropriate to better understand symptoms, track progress, and develop a treatment plan based on each client’s needs rather than relying on a one size fits all approach. I welcome adults, couples, families, first responders, military members, veterans, neurodivergent clients, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My style is down to earth, collaborative, and direct. I value honesty, humor, cultural responsiveness, and creating a space where clients can discuss difficult experiences without judgment.
