Clients I Work With

I work primarily with men who have spent years striving, achieving, or taking care of everyone else while feeling increasingly disconnected from themselves. Many have tried traditional approaches to self-improvement but continue to feel stuck in old emotional patterns, anxiety, relationship struggles, or the effects of unresolved trauma. My work combines EMDR, somatic therapy, and mindfulness with the principles of Effortless Mindfulness and nondual awareness. Rather than teaching you to become someone new, therapy helps you release what has been keeping you from the ease, clarity, and wholeness that are already present. I also work with meditators, spiritually curious individuals, and fellow therapists who want to integrate deep psychological healing with contemplative practice. Couples seeking a more honest, connected relationship are welcome. Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating a major life transition, or longing to feel more at home in yourself, therapy offers a space where both psychological healing and inner awakening.

Approach

I believe healing happens when we address both the psychological patterns that keep us stuck and the deeper awareness that already exists beneath them. My work is grounded in evidence-based trauma therapy while drawing from mindfulness and nondual wisdom to help clients experience lasting change and not just symptom relief. I tailor therapy to each person, integrating EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, cognitive and behavioral strategies, and compassion-based practices. Rather than relying on a single method, I use the approach that best fits your needs and goals. For many clients, unresolved trauma continues to shape relationships, emotions, and the way they experience themselves. EMDR and somatic therapy help process these deeper emotional patterns, while mindfulness and Effortless Mindfulness cultivate a greater sense of presence, resilience, and ease. I don't see psychological healing and awakening as separate paths. As old patterns soften, many people naturally discover greater clarity, openness, and connection with their world.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My work is shaped not only by professional training but also by years of personal practice and lived experience. Alongside my clinical work, I have maintained a long-term meditation practice and have spent years exploring mindfulness, nondual awareness, and contemplative traditions. These experiences continue to inform how I understand healing, resilience, and the human experience. I believe that emotional healing and self-understanding are deeply connected. While trauma and life experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves and others, I also believe that each person possesses an innate capacity for awareness, compassion, and well-being that can be rediscovered. My role is not to provide answers, but to help create the conditions in which insight, healing, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. This perspective complements, not replaces, evidence-based psychotherapy.

More About My Practice

Like many people, I have learned that insight alone is often not enough. Lasting change involves working with the body, emotions, and nervous system while also discovering a deeper capacity for presence, compassion, and resilience. This understanding continues to inform the way I practice and the way I relate to my clients.
