About this provider
Clients I Work With
I have experience with clients of all ages, but specifically enjoying working with students, young adults, and professionals.
Approach
While pulling from many therapeutic approaches in my work, I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This is a skills-based approach where I guide clients through different concepts, including mindfulness, coping through stressful experiences, managing emotions, and communicating effectively with others. I also specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), where clients will learn strategies to more easily fall and stay asleep. After each session, clients can leave with tangible skills to reach their goals and create the life they want to live.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
Through my own lived experience, I can deeply resonate with the realities my Millennial and Gen Z clients face. Dating, social media, politics, finances, and demands from school or work can be so daunting. My main priority as a therapist is to create a non-judgmental, engaging, and approachable environment where you feel empowered to navigate these challenges together. Just having one of those days where you need to vent about your mom, partner, or roommate? There’s plenty of space for that too.
