About this provider

Clients I Work With

I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or stuck. Many of the clients I support are navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, loneliness, grief, or difficulties understanding and meeting their own needs. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply feel that something needs to change, therapy can be a place to gain clarity, develop new tools, and feel supported. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, vulnerable, and empowered to move forward. I work with couples and families who are navigating challenges such as communication struggles, relationship stress, life transitions, conflict, and feeling disconnected from one another. I support couples who want to strengthen their relationship, rebuild understanding, and create healthier patterns of connection. Together, we can work toward greater understanding, healthier relationships, and meaningful change.

Approach

I am solution focused and use a variety of modalities depending on client needs. I believe therapy is a collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I help clients explore their experiences, build insight, develop coping tools, and create meaningful changes that align with their values and goals. My approach is direct, genuine, and individualized, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma informed approaches (EMDR). Sessions with me are conversational and paced to meet you where you are. Together, we will work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and connection. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with tools you can use beyond therapy.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel truly understood by someone who brings both professional experience and genuine compassion to the room. My perspective has been shaped by my work in healthcare, including my experience as an OB-GYN, my background in wilderness therapy, and my role as a mother of four. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the complexity of relationships, family dynamics, major life transitions, and the strength people carry through difficult seasons. I have a special interest in supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating high-conflict divorce, co-parenting challenges, communication struggles, and relationship transitions. I approach therapy with curiosity, steadiness, and respect for each person’s story. My goal is to create a space where people feel safe to be honest, gain perspective, and work toward healthier connections and meaningful change.
