About this provider
Clients I Work With
I work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, stuck in painful patterns, or affected by difficult experiences from the past. Some clients come to therapy knowing they have experienced trauma, while others simply know that something isn't working and they want to feel better. I also work with adults navigating relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, stress, and self-esteem. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, heal from what has been holding you back, and create meaningful change.
Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy works best when it is tailored to the individual rather than using the same approach with everyone. I integrate EMDR, cognitive behavioral strategies, and person-centered therapy based on your needs and goals. When appropriate, EMDR can help address distressing experiences and patterns that continue to affect you in the present. I value creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and respected while also helping you move toward meaningful change.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe therapy should be a place where clients feel respected, understood, and free to bring their whole selves into the process. I welcome clients of diverse backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and life experiences. For clients who wish to incorporate spirituality or Christian faith into therapy, I am comfortable integrating their beliefs and values into our work. Faith is never assumed or imposed, and clients of all faiths and those who do not identify with a faith tradition are welcome.
