About this provider
Clients I Work With
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ and transgender individuals and couples navigating ethical nonmonogamy (ENM), polyamory, and kink dynamics. Whether you're exploring your identity, carrying shame or loneliness, healing from trauma, navigating relationship transitions, or the feeling the exhaustion of being misunderstood, you deserve a space where you can finally exhale. You shouldn't have to to explain, defend, or minimize parts of yourself before you can begin to heal. Together, we'll make room for every part of you while we work toward greater authenticity, resilience, and meaningful connection with who and what matters most.
Approach
My approach is collaborative, integrating CBT, ACT, EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor interventions to each individual's unique strengths, combining strategies with deeper exploration of values, attachment patterns, and relational patterns. My goal is to help you live a life that feels genuinely yours.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
My work is shaped by my lived experience as a queer, nonbinary identified lesbian with lived experience of family estrangement. I understand the value of sharing certain lived experience with your therapist because much of what you might want to work on has little to do with your identity, but you want to work with someone who understands how your identity interacts with your life in this moment.
I view our work through a systemic lens which names the systemic barriers you are experiencing (discrimination, economic, educational, physical, health, stigmatization etc.) while empowering you to make decisions to support you best within your lived experience. I value supporting your life and relationships outside of sessions by helping you build access to your community (however you define that). Most importantly, I believe this space is yours and we will work together to identify what works best for you rather than me prescribing solutions for your life.
