About this provider
Clients I Work With
I work with professional women who want to experience more ease, play, connection, and joy in their lives and relationships to do just that. Together, we’ll work to quiet the inner critic, learn how to become aware of and express needs, and repair your relationship with your body, food, and energy.
What nobody sees is the quiet exhaustion of keeping your guard up:
Control turned inward: Channeling anxiety into rigid routines around productivity, food, or exercise—treating your body like a machine to manage rather than a home to live in.
The reflex to mask: Smiling, nodding, and holding back your genuine reactions because keeping the peace and maintaining composure feels safer than showing vulnerability.
Overriding your basic needs: Pushing through burnout, ignoring physical signals, or treating real rest as a luxury you haven’t earned yet.
I also work with women who are childfree or struggling with the decision of whether or not to have children.
Approach
In sessions, I pull from Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help identify social signals to others that may be getting in the way of true connection. Together we'll practice manageable experiments to loosen the grip on control and start to train your brain that discomfort is not dangerous, but rather how we grow and reach our valued goals.
I'm also very knowledgeable in the microaggressions aimed at childfree people and the noise that comes from parental/societal/internal pressures to have children. Together, we can have open and real conversations about where you're at, at any point the decision making process around having children, whether you are single, partnered and undecided, or firm in your decision around not having kids.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
As someone who grew up certain that I would have children and who has gone through their own questioning process around this, I'm well versed in the various ways people's biases can come up in these conversations, even in the therapy space by well-meaning individuals. I create a space that is actually free of judgement in order to explore this most personal, life-altering topic together.
