Clients I Work With

I primarily work with adults and couples who are navigating trauma, relational distress, and major life transitions, especially where identity, attachment, and meaning are central.

Approach

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and humanistic. I understand symptoms as adaptive responses to lived experience rather than pathology. Healing happens through safety, attunement, and a real therapeutic relationship—not through fixing or pushing. I work collaboratively, helping clients slow down and notice what’s happening emotionally, somatically, and relationally. Much of my work focuses on attachment, nervous system regulation, and softening survival strategies such as hypervigilance, shutdown, avoidance, or people-pleasing. I integrate humanistic and existential therapy, trauma-informed frameworks, EFT, and Gottman-informed tools as needed. I use experiential, in-the-moment work to support insight, emotional expression, and relational repair while prioritizing pacing and consent. I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and provide trauma-informed preparation

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My work is shaped by both clinical training and lived experience. I believe healing is not about fixing what’s broken, but about understanding how we adapted to survive and learning new ways of relating to ourselves and others. As a gay man and a therapist, I bring a deep respect for the impact of trauma, identity, and marginalization on the nervous system and on relationships. I understand how shame, fear, and disconnection can take root—and how powerful it is to be met with safety, attunement, and honesty. I approach therapy as a collaborative process grounded in integrity, humility, and curiosity. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel seen, respected, and supported at their own pace, and when insight is paired with compassion and accountability.

More About My Practice

My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, relational therapy for adults and relationships. I work with individuals and partners navigating attachment wounds, emotional regulation, relational trauma, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I have particular experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients and those healing from anxiety, depression, grief, and developmental or complex trauma. I am affirming and supportive of non-monogamous, consensually non-traditional, and evolving relationship structures, and I approach relationship work from a sex-positive, consent-based, and non-pathologizing perspective. My goal is not to impose a model of “healthy” relationships, but to help clients clarify needs, boundaries, values, and communication in ways that align with their lived realities. Sessions are collaborative, paced, and tailored to the client’s needs. I integrate experiential and re
