A Better Bond Therapy

Clients I Work With

Trauma can affect how we think, feel, and move through the world—often in ways that feel confusing or overwhelming. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and work with children, teens, and adults who are navigating the impact of traumatic or distressing life events. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, grief, behavioral changes, or feeling stuck in survival mode, you don’t have to face it alone. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space—a soft place to land—where healing can happen at your pace. Together, we work to gently process experiences, build resilience, and help you regain a sense of stability, control, and hope.

Approach

My approach to therapy is grounded in trauma-informed care, honoring the understanding that trauma affects the mind, body, and nervous system. I believe healing happens when individuals feel safe, supported, and empowered in their own process. I offer a gentle, collaborative space where children, teens, and adults can explore their experiences at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of their story. Using evidence-based modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), I help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and build effective coping skills. For those who connect best through experiential work, equine-assisted therapy provides a unique, grounding approach that supports emotional regulation, trust, and connection through interactions with horses.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe in showing up for others with compassion and without judgment. Therapy doesn’t have to feel rushed or overwhelming—in a world that moves fast, I value slowing things down and creating space to simply be. My approach is relaxed, supportive, and centered on helping clients feel safe enough to process at their own pace. I’m deeply grounded in the belief that healing happens when people feel heard, accepted, and supported. My love for animals and the calm they bring influences my work, reminding us that connection, presence, and patience matter. My goal is to offer a steady, caring space where you don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to show up.
