Clients I Work With

I work with teen girls and young adult women who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by self-doubt — even when they appear capable and put together on the outside. Many are high achievers who put pressure on themselves to succeed. They overthink decisions, replay conversations, and wonder if they are “too sensitive” or “not doing enough.” They often minimize their issues for fear of being a burden, or question if their issues are important enough for therapy. Let me assure you, they are. The young women I work with often struggle with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty trusting their own voice. They are tired of holding it together and pushing through on their own. In our work together, you do not have to perform, prove, or pretend. You can show up exactly as you are.

Approach

My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in emotional awareness. You will always have a voice in our sessions. While you may feel overwhelmed by your struggles, I believe people are not broken. They are works in progress with the capacity to grow when given the right support. I developed a practical framework called IRULE to help clients navigate big emotions in real time. We identify what you are feeling, recognize how it shows up in your body, understand what triggered it, let yourself feel the emotion without judgment, and employ coping tools before choosing your next step. Together, we practice moving from reaction to intention. You'll learn how to pause between feeling and acting so you can manage your emotions effectively and make decisions that align with your values and goals. As you practice the pause, you will learn how to trust yourself and your judgment.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My work is deeply shaped by my own lived experience with big emotions, self-doubt, perfectionism, and the pressure to be “good” or easy for others. I know what it feels like to question your worth, struggle to take up space, and feel unsure of yourself while trying to hold everything together. These experiences help me show up with empathy, patience, and authenticity in the therapy room. I believe emotions make sense, curiosity is more helpful than judgment, and you already have so many of the answers inside of you. My job is to help you find them. You are allowed to take up space. You are allowed to have needs. You are allowed to feel before you fix. Growth happens when you feel safe enough to be honest with yourself and supported enough to explore what you need.

More About My Practice

I named my practice Stardust Therapy as a reminder that even in difficult or overwhelming seasons, there are moments of light that matter. My work is about helping clients notice and trust those moments again. In our work together, you will find a calm, supportive space where you do not have to shrink yourself, hide your feelings, or pretend everything is fine. You do not have to navigate this alone. I am here to support you with care, consistency, and compassion. Through darkness we find our light. 🌟 My work extends beyond the therapy room through my BIG Feelings framework, which focuses on building emotional awareness and intentional decision-making across ages. At the core of everything I do is this belief: It is okay to have BIG feelings. It's what you do with them that matters.
