Clients I Work With
Folks in larger bodies who have experienced weight stigma, medical trauma, chronic health conditions, eating disorders, and chronic dieting.
Folks with a history of trauma, especially during childhood/attachment, as well as due to identity.
Folks who want to explore their identity, culture, gender, and who want to deconstruct beliefs about themselves that have been placed on them by dominant worldview narratives.
Approach
I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) to really emphasize that all parts of you are welcome. I help my clients to get to know all of these parts, even the ones that bring up the most shame and judgment, and to see these parts as good, protective, and adaptive.
