Clients I Work With
Many couples come to therapy worried about the future of their relationship. They describe their frustrated with misunderstandings and disagreements that leave them feeling disconnected, hurt, and lonely in the relationship. In therapy, we slow down difficult conversations to identify triggers, understand what each partner is really longing for, jointly problem solve, and connect through differences.
I specialize in working with couples struggling with miscommunications, desire discrepancy, affair recovery, disconnection, neurodiversity, life transitions, and relationship improvement. The work I do is tailored to professional and entrepreneur couples who balance busy schedules and intense personal, work, and home demands.
Approach
I help couples focus on current problems and implement the skills to communicate, solve problems, connect, and repair their relationship. My approach is to model and coach how to have the tough conversations in session so you know what it feels like to "do it right." Together, we find creative solutions that uniquely fit each person's needs in the relationship so they can meet their personal, professional, and relational goals.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe that most couples can have an extraordinary relationship if they are committed to learning how to live well with one another and open to creative solutions. I believe that a good relationship is the springboard to success in all other areas of life and ripples out into the community.
While we strengthen your relationship in accordance to your values, I help couples break out of the narrow cultural roles and scripts that can feel binding and restrict each partner's personal growth.
I've been through the ups and downs of long-term relationships in my own 25-year marriage, raising children, and balancing two mission-driven careers.
