Clients I Work With

I work with children (ages 4+), teens, and adults navigating trauma, grief, attachment challenges, and emotional or behavioral difficulties. Therapy with me—at any age—is about showing up fully and being seen. You don’t need to censor yourself in session. Come as you are—unfiltered, imperfect, unsure, angry, or overwhelmed. You can vent, cry, swear, joke, or say what you’ve never felt safe saying. I’m here for you. I like to do this work together. I want you to feel safe saying when something doesn’t sit right, when you disagree, or when you just want to try something different. Not every conversation will be comfortable, and you might not always love what I say — and that’s okay. I’m here through it all, whether we’re laughing, sitting in the hard stuff, or sorting through the mess together.

Approach

My style is warm, conversational, and trauma-informed. I show up as a real person — honest, compassionate, and sometimes gently sarcastic. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to navigate the meaningful work of growth. I take a client-centered, trauma-informed approach. Therapy is tailored to your needs — whether that means processing trauma, building coping skills, using creative or play-based tools, or simply having a safe space to pause and be yourself. We’ll figure out what works best, together.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I live in the Flathead Valley, Montana with my husband, son, and a growing herd of rescued animals. I love supporting my community and local businesses, and I’m passionate about this area and its history — including my own family’s. I am part Japanese, and that heritage is an important part of who I am. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and continuing to learn and grow. My work is shaped by my own experiences with chronic illness and trauma. I know what it feels like to struggle, feel misunderstood, and face moments where justice fails. I became a therapist to be the person I once needed — someone who truly stands in your corner. Those experiences guide how I show up, listen, and help people feel seen, heard, and supported.
