Clients I Work With

I work with adults and couples who are ready to move beyond simply coping and begin understanding themselves more deeply. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, ADHD, autism, life transitions, grief, burnout, or a persistent feeling of being stuck despite years of insight and self reflection. I especially enjoy working with individuals who have spent much of their lives caring for others while struggling to identify and honor their own needs. My clients are often thoughtful, capable, and self aware, yet find themselves caught in patterns of overthinking, people pleasing, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection from themselves and others. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and offer faith integrated counseling for those who would like their Christian faith incorporated into the therapeutic process.

Approach

I believe lasting change happens when we move beyond talking about problems and begin experiencing healing in real time. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that symptoms often make sense when viewed through the lens of a person’s history, relationships, and nervous system. I draw from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic approaches, and attachment based interventions to help clients better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Together, we explore the protective patterns that developed for good reasons while building greater self compassion, emotional flexibility, and connection. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I help clients strengthen their relationship with themselves so they can respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. While my role is not to direct your life, I strive to create a space where you can explore your experiences with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. My own journey has deepened my appreciation for the complexity of being human and the ways our past experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I understand what it is like to navigate anxiety, life transitions, perfectionism, and the challenge of balancing responsibility with self care. These experiences help me approach clients with humility and empathy while recognizing that every person’s story is unique. I value authenticity, growth, meaningful relationships, and the belief that healing is possible, even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain.

Insurance Notes

I am a private pay practice and do not accept insurance directly. This allows me greater flexibility in tailoring treatment to your individual needs without the restrictions often imposed by insurance companies. If you have out of network benefits, I can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary by plan, so I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn more about your out of network mental health benefits.
