Clients I Work With
I work with individuals navigating a range of mental health concerns, with a primary focus on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and trauma-related conditions. Many of my clients experience intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, heightened anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and the lingering effects of past traumatic experiences. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Processing (EMDR) to support clients in reducing symptom severity, increasing distress tolerance, and improving overall functioning. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward more stable, values-driven lives.
Approach
I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental stance. Sessions with me feel conversational and supportive, while also offering gentle challenge when it supports growth. I aim to create a space where you can be honest and feel understood, whether you’re working through difficult emotions, patterns, or past experiences.
My lens focuses on how anxiety, OCD, and life experiences can create cycles that feel hard to break. Together, we work on understanding those patterns and building new ways of responding—facing fears gradually, increasing tolerance for discomfort, and making space to process what you’ve been through. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and able to move toward a life that feels meaningful to you.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
My work is grounded in values of authenticity, empathy, and respect for each person’s unique experience. I believe that people are not defined by their symptoms, and I approach therapy with the perspective that everyone is doing the best they can with the tools and experiences they’ve had. This lens helps me show up with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment.
I also recognize how identity, culture, and lived experience shape the way we understand ourselves and move through the world. I strive to be mindful of these factors in the therapy space, honoring each client’s background while also reflecting on my own perspective and how it informs my work. I value openness, collaboration, and creating a space where clients feel safe to be fully themselves, knowing they will be met with respect and care.
