Clients I Work With

I am a trauma-informed therapist with specialized training in working with individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, trafficking, first responder experiences, and complex trauma. While I have experience supporting a wide range of concerns, my primary focus is helping clients process and heal from deeply impactful life events. I work with individuals across the lifespan, from childhood through adulthood, and tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique developmental and emotional needs. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to providing ethical, compassionate, culturally responsive care. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by what you’ve been through, stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, or unsure how to move forward, you are not alone. Together, we can create a space where your experiences are understood, your voice is valued, and healing feels possible.

Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you feel safe enough to be fully yourself. I see therapy as a space where we slow things down, make sense of your experiences, and gently work toward healing at your pace. Sessions with me often feel supportive, steady, and attuned—I’ll meet you where you are while also helping you build insight, skills, and confidence over time. I draw from trauma-informed approaches, incorporating elements of EMDR, somatic work, attachment-based therapy, and holistic practices to support both the mind and body. Above all, I believe healing happens in connection, and I strive to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and not alone in the process.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe people are more than what they’ve been through, and more than any diagnosis or label they’ve been given. My own lived experiences with mental health and trauma, along with my identity within the LGBTQ+ community, shape the way I show up in this work—with authenticity, humility, and deep respect for each person’s story. I view healing through a whole-person lens, recognizing the connection between mind, body, relationships, and environment. I value creating a space where you don’t have to filter who you are, where your identity is affirmed, and where your experiences are met with understanding rather than judgment. My goal is to walk alongside you in a way that feels real, human, and grounded in genuine care.

More About My Practice

At Holistic Journey Counseling and Consulting, I offer trauma-informed therapy services designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your family. Services include individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive space for healing and growth. I also offer specialized trauma work, consultation, and clinical supervision for those in the mental health field. Sessions are available in a comfortable, private setting, with options for telehealth to increase accessibility and flexibility. My practice is grounded in a holistic approach—supporting not just symptom relief, but overall wellbeing and long-term healing. Whether you’re looking for ongoing support, deeper trauma work, or professional guidance, my goal is to provide services that feel personalized, practical, and genuinely helpful.
