Clients I Work With

I work with high-achieving adults—especially AAPI, mixed-race, and multicultural individuals—who are exhausted from holding everything together for everyone else. You might be functioning well on the outside while running on empty inside. You've internalized high expectations, taken on caretaking roles in your family or community, and struggled to set boundaries without guilt. You may be dealing with anxiety that doesn't turn off, burnout that goes deeper than needing a vacation, or a sense of not quite belonging. You might also feel caught between cultural worlds, unsure where you fit. If you're ready to stop shrinking, start understanding your patterns, and feel at home in your own life again, you are welcome here.

Approach

Therapy with me is collaborative, unhurried, and grounded in your whole story, not just your symptoms. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Sessions are tailored to your nervous system, your background, and what you actually need that day. My approach is holistic and body-aware. We might explore how stress lives in your body, not just your thoughts, using somatic and movement-based techniques. I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand the different parts of yourself with curiosity instead of self-criticism. For deeper healing around past experiences, I use EMDR, Brainspotting and the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method. Overall, I help blend practical tools and lifestyle changes, root-cause trauma processing, and cultural awareness to help you from all angles.
