Clients I Work With

I work with children, teenagers, adults, and older adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, neurodiversity, executive-functioning difficulties, low self-esteem, substance-use concerns, family stress, aging-related concerns, or major life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting clients who want to understand themselves more deeply while developing practical, sustainable skills for everyday life. My approach can be helpful for individuals who feel overwhelmed, scattered, emotionally stuck, misunderstood, or unsure how to move forward. I welcome clients who want therapy to be collaborative, individualized, and judgment-free. I provide individual therapy but do not currently offer couples counseling. My outpatient practice may not be appropriate for individuals experiencing an immediate crisis or requiring a higher level of care.

Approach

My approach is warm, authentic, collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and you deserve to have an active voice in your goals and treatment. I combine emotional exploration with practical skill building so we can understand the deeper patterns affecting you while developing realistic strategies for everyday life. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution-focused strategies, mindfulness, trauma-focused interventions, and humor when appropriate. I am also completing advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety-related concerns. I will listen without judgment, recognize your strengths, and gently challenge you when it may help you grow and move forward.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. My own professional journey was not a perfectly straight path, and the different roles I held before becoming a therapist helped me understand that people can grow, change direction, and discover new strengths at any stage of life. I value authenticity, compassion, humor, personal choice, and meeting people where they are. I believe our experiences, identities, relationships, culture, and environments can all influence how we understand ourselves and the world around us. I strive to remain curious rather than make assumptions and welcome open conversations about what matters most to you. I also believe that a diagnosis is only one part of a person’s story—it does not define their worth, abilities, or potential. My hope is to help clients recognize their strengths, develop greater self-understanding, and create a life that feels meaningful to them.

More About My Practice

Charasmatic Counseling Services offers individual therapy through secure telehealth for clients located in states where I am licensed, as well as in-person appointments at my Framingham, Massachusetts office. I work with clients across the lifespan and tailor treatment to each person’s goals, needs, strengths, and preferred pace. Before our first appointment, I ask clients to complete their intake paperwork so I can better understand what brings them to therapy and how I may be able to help. Our initial session focuses on getting to know one another, discussing your concerns, and developing collaborative treatment goals. I currently provide individual and group therapy but do not offer couples counseling. Because this is an outpatient practice, it may not be appropriate for individuals experiencing an immediate crisis or requiring a higher level of care. I also provide clinical supervision to developing mental health clinicians.

Additional Credentials & Training

I hold independent counseling licenses in Massachusetts (LMHC), Maine (LCPC), Vermont (LCMHC), and Connecticut (LPC). I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and MaMHCA Certified Clinical Supervisor (MCCS). I also hold a graduate certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling and specialized in geriatrics during my master’s program. I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and am continuing advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety-related concerns.
