Clients I Work With

I’m Christina Duncan, LCSW, and I provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a warm, collaborative style, creating a safe and supportive space for clients of all ages. I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, including strengths-based support for neurodivergent clients, helping build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and deepen self-understanding. I’m committed to fostering growth, resilience, and lasting well-being in a nonjudgmental environment.

Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment-based work, and strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming practices to meet each client’s unique needs. I focus on building a trusting relationship where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore challenges at your own pace. With children and families, I incorporate developmentally appropriate and relational approaches, while with couples I emphasize communication, connection, and repair. Throughout our work, I aim to support insight, skill-building, and meaningful, sustainable change.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My work is informed by personal and lived experience. Growing up in a neurodiverse household, with an autistic brother, I developed an early understanding of the strengths, challenges, and nuances that come with neurodivergence. This perspective shapes the empathy and insight I bring to my work with neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals and their families. I value honoring each person’s unique way of thinking, communicating, and experiencing the world, and I strive to create a space that feels respectful, affirming, and genuinely supportive.
