Clients I Work With
I work with teenagers, young adults and adults who are often at the beginning of their mental health journey. Some of them have experienced therapy before with mixed results. I often work with people who are just noticing that something feels off, feeling not like themselves, or are overwhelmed by life's demands. Many of my clients are encountering self-esteem difficulties, feeling disconnected from others, and often feel an intense need to mask themselves in order to be accepted.
Approach
In sessions, I do my best to show up as authentically and humanly as possible. I see you as the expert on yourself and me as a supporter on your journey to understand yourself even better. Sessions with me are relaxed and free from psychobabble. I use an eclectic blend of humanistic, person-centered values along with bits and pieces of cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy.
