Clients I Work With
I work with women navigating life after breast cancer treatment. Many survivors expect to feel relieved when treatment ends, only to find themselves struggling with anxiety, fear of recurrence, scanxiety, body image changes, physical symptoms, relationship shifts, and a lingering sense that life doesn't quite feel like theirs anymore.
Treatment may be over, but the emotional impact often remains. You may feel stuck between who you were before cancer and who you are now, unsure how to move forward when everyone else seems to have moved on.
As both a therapist and breast cancer survivor, I understand that recovery isn't just physical. My work focuses on helping women reconnect with themselves, rebuild trust in their bodies, navigate life transitions, and create a life that feels meaningful and authentic after cancer.
Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that cancer affects far more than the body. Many of the women I work with feel disconnected from themselves, caught between wanting to move forward and feeling unsure how.
Together, we explore the anxiety, grief, identity shifts, and relationship changes that often follow treatment. I draw from trauma-informed, somatic, and evidence-based approaches to help you better understand your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and develop a greater sense of safety, trust, and self-compassion.
Therapy with me isn't about getting back to who you were before cancer. It's about helping you understand who you are now and building a life that fits that version of you.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
As a breast cancer survivor myself, I know firsthand that some of the hardest parts of cancer can begin after treatment ends. While everyone's experience is different, I understand what it feels like to navigate uncertainty, fear, changes in your body, and the challenge of moving forward when life no longer feels the same.
My personal experience doesn't replace my clinical training, but it does shape the way I show up. You won't need to explain survivorship to me from the beginning. I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to this work.
I believe healing is not about returning to who you were before cancer. It's about creating a relationship with yourself, your body, and your life that feels honest, meaningful, and sustainable moving forward.
